Currently on the mission field there are the Disciple-Making Movement (DMM) and the Church-Planting Movement (CPM) that are being pursued as a means of facilitating the completion of the Great Commission. Both are essentially the same even though DMM might be more oriented toward disciple making and CPM toward church planting. Such a notional distinction is not compatible with the reality of both. Instead a more compatible and complete depiction for both would be the Disciple-Making Church-Planting Movement (DMCPM). It captures both the disciple-making and church-planting aspects of the pursuit.

The Catechized Disciple-Making Church-Planting Movement (CDMCPM) is an actual implementation of the Disciple-Making Church-Planting Movement (DMCPM) that is a conceptual cross between the Disciple-Making Movement (DMM) and the Church-Planting Movement (CPM).
