Coaching is provided by the overseer of the parent church as the coach to overseers of child churches either online or in person on a weekly basis.

Please note the following guidelines for coaching:

It is possible that as time progresses, some of the overseers of child churches may have developed more competence in ministry than the overseer of the parent church who coaches them. That should not negate the coaching relationship because the coaching is done via standard checklists primarily for the purpose of ensuring that deviations from standard practice in facilitating the CDMCPM session are detected and corrected early.

The coach should refrain from coaching overseers of child churches if he/she has not been interceding on their behalf since the previous session.

The coach should not hesitate to read questions out loud from the checklist instead of posing them from memory.

If there are multiple overseers who are being coached, the coach can pose one question and let each one of them answer it before moving on to the next question.

Participants in the coach s checklist questions refer to participants in the child churches the overseers of which the coach is coaching. Please note this particular context for participants in these questions.

The coach states that he/she has been praying since the previous session for overseers of child churches concerning progress that needs to be made in their churches and interceding on their behalf for setback that has been encountered and is therefore ready to coach them.

The coach opens the meeting with a prayer.

If this is the first time the overseer of a newly formed church joins the meeting, the coach does the following:
